At our school, Year 5 and Year 6 students have the exciting opportunity to learn Steel Pan music! This fun and vibrant musical experience introduces children to the unique sounds and rhythms of the Caribbean.
🥁 What are Steel Pans?
Steel pans (also known as steel drums) are musical instruments that originated in Trinidad and Tobago. They are made from metal and played using rubber-tipped sticks. Each pan plays different notes, creating bright and joyful music.
