Communication Strategy
Rationale
Our vision for Franciscan Primary School is to ensure that we are sustainably growing and engaging our community. We want all of our pupils to develop a strong love of learning, both in school and across the community. We aspire for all children to be the best local and global citizens they can be, demonstrating our three core values at all times: respect, kindness and perseverance. As part of this, we need to ensure that communication is central to school life and school learning. Through good communication, we build relationships that uphold and support the values of our school community. We endeavor to act in partnership with the parent community in light of ‘achieving excellence together’.
Our aims
Our aim at Franciscan is that our communication is effective, supportive and informative. A strong communication strategy ensures that every member of our community feels valued. In turn, they value the aims and vision of the school. Therefore, our guiding principles must be that all communication is:
● Clear, accurate and precise;
● Inclusive of the whole school community;
● Respectful to all parties involved.
